Yangon, July 2, 2024 — HOPE has launched a new preschool in the Hlegu IDP camp, enrolling over 20 children. This initiative aims to provide early childhood education and a safe learning environment for internally displaced persons (IDP).
“We are committed to providing these children with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive,” said Dr. Simon Thaung, Executive Director of HOPE.
The preschool is equipped with essential learning materials and staffed by trained educators, bringing hope and stability to the children’s lives.
