On June 26, 2023 Myaw Lint Yar (HOPE), in collaboration and coordination with local community leaders, successfully organized the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking event at Putao District Stadium.
The event featured a Drug Use Prevention Activity, where 22 regional football clubs came together for an exciting competition.
Over 600 locals come to witness the unity, passion, and determination of these clubs as they inspire their community to stop stigma and discrimination among people who use drugs, and strengthen the prevention work. This activity is funded by part of USAID and UNODC.
