On April 9, 2024, leaders from Myaw Lint Yar (HOPE) visited the Ronald Reagan Building, Washington to discuss and share their Local Works activity and lessons learned.
The event highlighting the work of USAID/Burma local faith-based partner Myaw Lint Yar (HOPE), specificly the ADAPT project, awarded in 2021, the Addressing Drug Addiction Problems in Putao Township (ADAPT) activity worked to address the devastating heroin epidemic in Kachin State.
This event was co-hosted by Local Works and the Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships (FBNP) in IPI/LFT.
